Great Read! Thaddeus is very descriptive. It feels like you are in his shoes growing up in the ghetto streets of third ward.

Probably the best, if not the best book I have read ever when it relates to the typical upcomings of a black male in America. This book gives great direction spiritually, emotionally, and mentally on how to handle the struggles and obstacles of life. I absolutely love it!

All I can say is that I cant wait for the movie or next copy.

  4. Clyde Hunt

This was an amazing read! Some parts literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I could truly relate to some of the challenges the author recounted regarding his inner city upbringing as they were very similar to my own. The author’s writing style captures you from the opening paragraph and doesn’t let go until the very end. I also liked the fact that the author willingly tackled difficult topics that others may choose to shy away from. I’ve recommended this book to all of my friends and I will continue to do so. This truly is a must read!
